Up-close and personal with your favourite idols 😍 for a small price of $65

Hi guys welcome back to my blog!!! How have y'all been?? Today's topic of discussion may be something not too familiar to the casual K-Pop listener, but for die-hard fans, you may already be a member: K-Pop Fancafés!
PART I: FAN-CLUBS
The first topic of discussion are K-pop fan-clubs! Fan-clubs require a membership fee that must be paid every year. However, your efforts are rewarded, with benefits (for most groups) including:
- fanclub merchandise
- early bird ticket sales for fanmeetings
- priority entry to music show recordings
- exclusive pictures, videos, behind the scenes, etc.
Memberships can cost around $35 AU (excluding shipping costs, usually doubling costs) so make sure you get your money's worth! On top of this, groups do not accept memberships throughout the year, but have time periods at which the fan-club is open for registrations, so be aware of this! Unfortunately, some group's fan-clubs do not accept registrations unless you are a Korean citizen, which is kinda sad for us international fans (T__T).
PART II: FANCAFÉS
Fancafés come as a blessing for us broke, international fans!! K-Pop fancafés are free to join, but do not carry the same perks as fan-clubs. Benefits include:
- read official news released by the group's company
- read schedule information such as music show appearances (and applying for a position in
queue to watch recording
Fancafés are pretty much all done through Korean webportal 'DAUM', so all you need to do is create an account, find your group's café and join (website is all in Hangul though so either be an intellect and learn the language or attempt to use Google Translate ^_^). Through certain tasks within the fancafé, your account has the ability to level up, which can give you access to even more benefits, including:
- live chat with other fans
- ability to see notes from the idols to the fans
- ability to post on other boards with fans
But these tasks, may not be simple. Most fancafés use a quiz to test the user's knowledge to make sure only the greatest fans reach the highest level!! Interested in joining? Here is an example of a guide on how to join BTS' Daum Fancafé!

Unfortunately that is all we have time for today (T^T)! I hope y'all found this post interesting and informative, and maybe some of you can get closer to your favourite oppas and unnies xd. Thanks for reading!
